    Haltwhistle Club Site is in a clearing of Bellister wood, once the property of Bellister Castle Estate and now managed by the National Trust. You may find you are sharing a pitch with red squirrels.

    This 50 pitch site betwixt the Northumberland National Park and North Pennines is surrounded by magnificent walking and cycling country. The Haltwhistle Rings a series of 22 local walks is one way to take in the local scenery. Hadrians Wall, five miles from the campsite, offers walking opportunities along with Kielder Water and Forest Park which has a 27-mile track around the shore of the lake. Water sport lovers can sail, canoe and water ski here too.
