Nestled just next to the famous White Horse Hill, Britchcombe Farm campsite offers a serene, rustic and unforgettable relaxing environment for campers. With its close proximity to the Lambourn Downs, the Iron Age fort Uffington Castle, the historic Ridgeway path, Dragon Hill and Wayland’s Smithy, campers are spoilt for choice on which sites to explore and marvel at their beauty.
With very little light and noise pollution especially at night, the campsite is ideal for star gazing and hunting down for the Milky Way which appears very beautifully at night. The well positioned campfires accentuate the beauty of the place giving you a carefree feel of a holiday out in the wild. Every evening, the camp owner goes round checking on campers and replenishing their wood supply.
Kids will always remember Britchcombe Farm not only for the exciting sites they saw but also because of the carefree attitude they had while there to run and invent all the games they could think of. For those who love pony trekking, they can always do so at the nearby Kingston Lisle which is only 2kms away while for those who love swimming can do it at Faringdon Swindon and Wantage.
