    On Scotland’s sunshine coast, our Club Site at Barns Ness is surrounded by the world’s finest links golf courses. There is a long, sandy beach nearby and it is within easy reach of the capital – Edinburgh.

    Barns Ness

    A wildlife reserve and geology trail are near the Site. Join guided walks in July and August. A three-and-a-half mile long walk follows part of the John Muir coastal trail and passes the Site. Dunbar became a Royal Burgh in 1370. It has several places to eat and sandy beaches nearby. Its position on the east coast gives it a good number of hours of sunshine. The East Links Family Park has animals and a narrow gauge railway. The Museum of Flight at East Fortune includes Scotland’s only Concorde aircraft. See puffins, seal pups and dolphins at the Scottish Seabird Centre. Meet ex-miners and experience life down the mine at the Scottish Mining Museum, Newtongrange. Sample whisky or other drinks at the local distilleries or breweries. Edinburgh is a car journey away. The train goes into the city centre and tour buses take visitors round the many sights. Follow in the footsteps of the Queen and the Royal Family on the Royal Yacht Britannia at her home at Edinburgh’s historic port of Leith.
