Scenic site within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Graded 4 star by the Scottish Tourist, and AA 3 Pennants, the Park also holds a Silver Green Business Award and Silver David Bellamy Environmental Excellence Award. The Park is on the site of the old Balquhidder Railway Station – the Railway steps, Platform and Tunnel can still be seen. The Park has resident Red Squirrels and wildflowers and butterflies abound! The Rob Roy Walking Trail and Cycle Route 7 pass across the road from the Park.,p.
Campers are welcome on the main Park but many prefer the Wilderness overspill area, where they can enjoy the wildlife and light a campfire under the stars.
